The number of people seeking food assistance in our community continues to rise. Today, the number of kids living below the federal poverty level in Florida has reached 969,000, or nearly one in four– a 4 percent increase over last year.
The Rollins Feed the Need campaign will officially kick-off on Friday, November 4 at Family Weekend "R" Community Block Party at Rollins College. Between November 4, 2016 through November 29, 2016, the campaign will unite Rollins students, local Winter Park businesses and anyone that wants to join through online giving and Rollins events with one mission in mind: to feed the need.

Feed the Need Cookie Sales
Begins Monday, October 31st at Sodexo locations on campus. Sale of cookies end on November 29, 2016.

The IPad Pro Feed the need raffle tickets will be on sale from 11/4 – 11/28. Raffle will take place on 11/29.
Get your tickets at the C-Store and the Boathouse. You can also buy tickets at the R-Block party on Friday from 3-5p and on Saturday at lunch. The suggested donation is $5 per ticket.
Rollins Feed the Need Campaign Kick-off at Family Weekend “R” Community Block Party
Friday, November 4, 2016 from 3:30 - 5 p.m. on the Bush Lawn.
Join us and explore “R” Neighborhood for an afternoon of fun! The Block Party will introduce you to the 9 Dimensions of Wellness through a variety of activities and booths! During the block party, be sure to participate and vote as part of the Chef’s Challenge Cook-off, benefiting Rollins’ Feed the Need Campaign for Second Harvest Food Bank. Music, food, and fun activities are in store! Event being held rain or shine!
