Second Harvest Food Bank relied on more than 34,370 volunteers last year whose hours totalled 107,095. It's pretty incredible to see so many caring individuals pass through our warehouse throughout the year. Our various volunteer opportunities offer fun and unique ways for individuals and groups to contribute their time, talents and resources to help our neighbors in need.
Please review the following info below before signing up for a volunteer shift at our main facility.
Please note that our online calendar will only show volunteer opportunities in Orange County. If you are interested in volunteering at our Volusia Branch please call 1-386-257-4499. To volunteer at our Brevard Branch, please call at 321-733-1600.

* Each individual volunteer must register on their own. This allows us to keep accurate track of hours per volunteer.
Court Ordered Community Service
While we do accept volunteers that need to fulfill court ordered community service hours, please note that your offense must NOT involve a violent crime, theft, firearm/weapons, drug or sexual offense charge. You also must be willing to provide all of the information regarding the court order and/or Probation/Diversion officer information for follow up by our organization on your first volunteer shift. We specifically need your documents to list your offense. Your first volunteer shift CANNOT be on a Saturday. Please let us know upon arrival that you are court ordered so we can enter your information into our system for tracking.
