SNAP Benefits (Food Stamps)

Another way of putting food on the table and fighting food insecurity in our community is by offering assistance with applications for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps. To ensure individuals, families, seniors, veterans and persons with disabilities have the help they need, our Benefits Connection Outreach program offers experienced, friendly and full-service SNAP application assistance at convenient locations in Brevard, Lake, Orange and Osceola Counties.

Services include:

  • Required interview conducted at time of application (normally conducted over the phone after an application is submitted).
  • Supporting documents scanned and submitted directly to DCF.
  • SNAP related consultations and application follow-up assistance provided as well as information and referrals.

All services are provided free of charge.
