About Us

Creating Hope. Nourishing Lives.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a nonprofit organization working to end hunger across Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties. Each day, more than 330,000 meals are provided for families, kids and seniors facing hunger through a network of feeding partners.

At Second Harvest Food Bank, food is more than a meal. It’s fuel for a child to learn, a step toward stability for a parent working to make ends meet, and comfort for a senior living alone. It’s the start of something better.

A foundation for a better future. Through life-changing job training programs, students gain skills, confidence, and the power to provide for themselves and their families.
