September is Hunger Action Month — we invite you to come together to raise awareness and strengthen hunger relief efforts in Central Florida.
This is your chance to lead the way in filling the meal gap in Central Florida. Thank you for making a difference for the 1 in 7 Central Floridians who are food insecure.
To say the issue of hunger is large is an understatement. With 53,000 people a day accessing a Second Harvest Food Bank feeding partner, it can be overwhelming and intimidating to even know where to start to make a difference.
During Hunger Action Month this September, Second Harvest invites you to take one action to feed one individual, one family, one child. Read about our #feedONE campaign.
You can use the “30 Ways in 30 Days” calendar to find different activities focused on the four ways to get involved: donate food, donate funds, give your time or lend your voice. Some actions are small, like sharing a hunger fact via social media, or wearing ORANGE on September 12 (Hunger Action Day) while others take more effort, like the #feedOne campaign. Challenge.
