So many of our neighbors are struggling these days to obtain basic needs like food. Thousands of seniors, children, working families and others are relying on the support of caring people just to get by this year. For every $10 donated to my virtual food drive, Second Harvest can distribute 40 more meals into our community.
The Covid-19 virus is affecting people throughout our state. Due to the numerous closures of stores and restaurants, many are at risk of not receiving crucial paychecks to support their loved ones. For this reason, the goal for this year is $6000 in an effort to relieve the stress of such workers. I have an anonymous donor that will match dollar to dollar for the first $2,500.
